Wonderful event in Leicester. Our guest speaker, Bizzi Dixon, Voice UK finalist 2014, delivered a thought provoking speech. Marcus Joseph was magical on his saxophone and Boston ‘The Orator’ treated us to some of his poetic works. DJ Attraction was patient and spun great tracks! Thanks to all who came and took part.

Our Documentary Many Rivers To Cross was broadcast on the Community Channel throughout October 2014. We were recently informed of very impressive viewing figures and we would like to thank everyone who supported us and the film.
We have begun filming interviews for our ‘Making Waves’ documentary. Out next year. Funded by the Heritage Lottery it asks questions about the black, British experience. Great interviees, watch out for it in Spring 2015!
October- A successful trip was made to the Black Cultural Archives in Brixton as part of Making Waves – our Heritage Lottery Project. A Group from Nottingham and Leicester was given a guided tour around this Len Garrison inspired archive dedicated to Black British identity and its history.
